The most important mathematician in this subject in the last century is the “King of Geometry” H.S.M. (Harold Scott MacDonald) Coxeter, who gave a complete account of regular polytopes in many dimensions. He inspired some of the most important drawings by M.C. Escher, especially the one of Coxeter exhuming Geometry’s coffin [7], where on the gravestone you could read, Geometry 600 B.C.–1900 A.D. R.I.P (Fig. 10).
